Vision / Future Plan
I always told my parents that I was going to be a great artist when I grow up. That's the one thing about me that has never changed and never will change about me. My love for drawing goes as far as my memory, my oldest memory being when I would watch my father sketch little doodles on scratch paper. Inspiring me to try doing the same. Some years later I was given my first set of watercolor paints and a few dollar store brushes, and the rest is history. Now here I am, grown and almost done with high school, and the question I keep getting asked is "what are you planning to do once you graduate?" I am going to attend art school and study fine art, specifically painting and drawing as well as art history. Reason being for going to art school is because art is my favorite thing in the whole world, and nothing would make me happier than to pursue art for my future career, and get to do what I love for my whole life. My plan is to broaden my knowledge of art and further strengthen my own artistic ability as well as expand my imagination. I haven’t quite decided what specific career I want to have once I’m done with art school.I know that in twenty years I will be making art of some sort, just what it will be I'm not sure. Though I have many ideas that range from making comics to working in advertising to being a professional artist with my own gallery. Whenever I do find what it is I really want to do, I know that I will be prepared for it.
